BUILDING THE ANEMELI
Nautimar introduced the idea of a custom-built yacht to the experienced owner and assisted in forming the concept, specifications and brief from the very early stages. We subsequently followed-up on the yachts progress and regularly visited the shipyard during construction.
Designed by Guido de Groot and incorporating naval architecture by Jaron Ginton, Anemeli is one of the first Van der Valk yachts to feature a fast displacement hull design. Her all-aluminium, round-bilged fast displacement hull with a bulb on the submerged section artificially extends the waterline. Combined with her powerful engines, this offers a more than excellent level of speed and fuel efficiency.
The 27-metre yacht, which combines the advantages of a flybridge motoryacht with lines similar to those of the Raised Pilothouse series, is characterised by a helm station on the main deck and a very large flybridge area. The hull has been sprayed in a stunning Alexseal Silver Metallic.
