Van der Valk Celebrates Award-Winning Design and a New Custom Yacht Milestone

Van der Valk continues to prove why it is one of the most exciting names in custom yacht building today.

Following an exceptional year for M/Y LALABE, the 35-metre Van der Valk superyacht received a Judges’ Commendation at the World Superyacht Awards 2026 in Venice, after previously achieving a remarkable triple win at the BOAT International Design & Innovation Awards 2026.

At the same time, Van der Valk has reached another major milestone with M/Y Shine, the yard’s largest custom yacht to date. Measuring 39.92 metres, Shine has begun sea trials ahead of delivery, marking an important step forward for the Dutch shipyard’s growing custom yacht portfolio.

These achievements reflect the same values that define Van der Valk: craftsmanship, innovation, individuality, and a deep commitment to building yachts around the vision of their owners.
